Did you notice there was no blog entry yesterday; I kept postponing it thinking I will do it post lunch, after school, following dinner, and then as I returned from a night out with some of my favorite ladies, I realized it was 1:00am. It was the next day, time had slipped by, and I had broken my streak. A real pity!

I greatly enjoyed our dinner at Thai from Sky. Oded, the owner, took personal care of us as some my friends knew him well, that always help. How transnational our lives have become, we were a group of women of Indian origin, dining in a Thai restaurant in Amstelveen, owned by Oded from Israel.

The food was nicely done. I would recommend their sweet and sour fish, which I found delicious. The red curry chicken had just the right combination between spice and coconut milk. The papaya salad was adequately spicy. My friends also had the stir fried vegetables and a chicken mince that they enjoyed. Unfortunately, I could not try those because of my jaw injury.

My dessert of lava cake with ice cream was heavenly. Since then, I have been dreaming about it, and cannot wait to have it again. Thai from Sky is spacious with thoughtfully designed seating areas. They are also available for events and catering. I would sincerely recommend them because the entire team has a refreshing warm attitude to service.
