Dr. Olivia Remes says that if you want to accomplish things despite your anxiety, follow these three principles:
- Anything worth doing is worth doing badly the first time (G.K. Chesterton)
- Forgive yourself
- Have a purpose – do something with someone else in mind.
As I talk to teachers and students who are struggling with the new normal I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on these three liberating ideas with the hope that they will help us harness our inner strength.
