Belmonte Arboretum in Spring Sunshine

A visit to the Belmonte Arboretum in Wageningen yielded joy and sunshine. In full bloom were rhododendrons, cherry blossoms, magnolias, camellias, and narcissus.

There were plenty varieties of rose bushes though not yet flowering, their promise holding much hope. It’s lovely how the entire year has offerings of petalled wonders.

Adding to the day were stunning views of the river area, tall impressive trees with winding pathways. There are quaint corners, opulent blossoms, buzzing insect hotels, chirping birds, and rolling greens, much to make the heart feel light.
