I have been enjoying my walks around Beatrixpark. It is a quieter, smaller, and more romantic park than the other ones in Amsterdam. There are secluded sections that allow for solitude, which can in some cases seem perilous if you have been watching one too many murder mysteries.

They have an open paddle pool for kids, a formal garden, open gym and a treehouse. What I like most about Beatrixpark is its bridges. They drape over gorgeous waterways surrounded by luscious trees.
