I have landed up hurting my TMJ / TMD, which is the joint that connects the jaw to the skull. The left hand side of my face, near the ear, is a throbbing ball of pain. My doctor’s verdict is a hairline fracture given my inability to open my mouth, the extent of pain, and swelling. I am supposed to not chew and am nibbling or drinking my food. I have been given pain meds. Thankfully, I am able to talk. Wish me luck, I will need it.
